Results tomorrow...

Damn results coming tomorrow afternoon... argh... trying my best not to panic because no amount of that can change whatever results i'll see on the paper tomorrow afternoon... sigh~

First, i would like to thank everyone in CJC who has made my stay a wonderful and unforgettable experiance that even if i leave (highly unlikely), i would never forget what it has been like to be in CJC. To Jeremy and Theng Theng, you have been great facils, thank you!! To 1T19, Thank you people for being such wonderful classmates! To the canoeists and other people that i've known in the past two months, thank you for being such good friends :D

The past week has been very strange in class, with people flareing up at each other, and also Miss. Ho walking out of class looking very sad and disappointed.. i wonder if it's just the news that the results were gonna be released soon that's causing all this high tension..

Now that the maid's gone back to Indonesia, i've become like the domestic maid of the house. Doing housework everyday when i get home, and having less and less time to relax. Furthurmore with this sorching weather, it's like becoming such a chore, always perspiring till sweat drips off my chin while im sweeping the floor, and also dripping sweat onto the clothes that i'm ironing.. =/ what's worse is that my AIRCON'S DOWN!!! argh, been suffering at night the past week because the dumb aircon screwed up on me. what an excellent time for it to break down...

went out on saturday with the CJ peeps to go watch danceworks yesterday. met yimin, hanxiang, cumar, donny, leo, ken, nigel and sheryl at HDB hub. CJ performed quite good compared to the other groups i saw. for example, a group danced very messily and there was another which dressed like super mario.. =/ heard from Mel that CJ made it to the top 8 and is in the finals, congrats CJ.

played pool at lucky plaza with leo donny and yimin. after playing for awhile, some Levi's employee came up to our table and asked if we wanted to play "punch" where the loser paid for the game. we were not the kind who played such stuff and as a result let the guy play without paying!! argh. he played 2 games with leo, with leo winning the first and him winning the second. we thought that since both of them won 1 each, they were square and the guy left. i found out from my bro later at dinner that usually "punch" was played with 3 games, with the loser paying for the whole table. even if 2 games were played and a draw took place, each one was supposed to pay half!! dammit blur us. heh.

spent the whole of today at home, waking up at 1pm before just lying around, doing housework and using the computer. keep hearing that people are going out to enjoy the last day before the results are released, but here i am, staying at home because no one invited me out :( heh.

alright gotta go, tata!

Feeling better than all last week... FINALLY!

Damn.. second time writing this. stupid internet explorer so incredibly buggy. ok so here i go again...

Finally feeling better after being down with 1 week of flu. ok, because i missed school yesterday, had to see Mr. Michael Tan today with my MC + Letter. so here's what it was like.

-walk into his office.
Me: Good Afternoon Mr. Tan
Mr.Tan: yeah good afternoon, what are you here for?
Me: i was absent yesterday.
Mr.Tan: ok, can i have your letter?
Me: yeah sure.
-hands him my letter + mc.
Mr.Tan: hmm?
Me: oh, i was sick for the whole week.
Mr.Tan: so when did you see the doctor?
Me: Monday. he gave me an mc for tuesday and wednesday, but i came to school because i felt ok. on thursday i didn't feel too good, so i stayed at home.
Mr.Tan: oh ok.
-starts typing on his computer
Mr.Tan: ok you may go, take these and give to your home tutor.

Just thought that it was kinda funny, seeing the doctor on Monday, getting mc for tuesday and wednesday, and being absent on thursday. heh.

as i was absent on thursday, i missed the chemistry test! so had to do a "retest" today at 3pm with a couple of absentees. found the test slightly easier than the first one although i think i got my ratios wrong. just forgot how to calculate them when i saw the question. =/

because the test started at 3pm, it ended at 3.40pm and as such i had to go for training a little late. initially i said that i wouldn't be going because i was still not totally recovered from flu. but, as i was just curious and realized that i couldn't do anything other than sleep had i gone home, i took a stroll to the grandstand to see what was up for training. there, i saw some people's bags but no one around. then, i decided to just put my bags together with the rest there and go to the gym to see if the canoeists were there. went in and saw the usual people and decided to join in. did weights for awhile when captain came in and told us to go to the grandstand.

just then, i was wondering... "oh no! is it another crazy super training again?" and thought that i would just sit at the grandstand to watch if it was a run or circuit training. but, captain said that there was gonna be games today. so i thought since it was games, why not?

at least captain was nice today... we formed 4 lines in front of the grandstand and each team had to have everyone do pushups (10 for girls and 15 for guys) and 2 grandstands in the shortest time possible. the first team had to do no extra pushups, second 30, third 40 and last 50. next, we had captains ball! the catch was we played using a medicine ball. hehh, usually it wouldn't seem so heavy.. but after training when everyone's tired, the ball seems significantly heavier.

after the game, it was already about 5.30pm and training ended with the usual "Awas Go! CJ Canoeing Woosh!". just then, it started to rain very heavily... i figured that i couldn't go home without getting soaked throughly so i managed to get alicia, benjamin, damien, tiffany and samantha to go to subway at far east for dinner!! :D

after dinner, thought i would walk with alicia and tiff to the bus stop outside heeren to take my bus instead of taking from the one opposite far east since they had to take their busses from there. however........ as we were walking outside tangs, i just saw something. ORCHARD ROAD WAS CLOSED FOR CHINGAY! which means i did not have any bus to take already. end up walking to somerset to take the train to meet my mom at at her office before going for a "second dinner" with the family in ang mo kio.

after dinner, bro left with my dad and i, with mom. when i was with mom, we happened to walk past this "ge tai" or something and i stopped to watch. mom went on to buy her things and told me to wait for her while watching. not long after mom left, i saw jesmine! lol. what a small world this is. just said hi, and went off to look for mom..

came home, showered, and here i am now.. spending a whole hour typing this entry out TWICE.
stupid buggy internet explorer. maybe i should just switch to using mozilla firefox or something, maybe even consider writing my entries on my ibook instead. the macintosh platform is so much more stable than windows...

have training tomorrow morning at kallang river. think we're all going to be dragon boating again! can't wait! :D ok, gonna sleep now, tata!

May the best man win.

Whoo!! individual 13th place for CJC x-country !! and interclass second!! whoo! 1T19 you rock!! i love u guys man! keep it up!

Arghh. so much homework left to do... how to complete?!! oh well.. think i'll do tomorrow morning before sch.. dam tired already also... hmm, CANOEING TRAINING after school tomorrow! its land training, and i heard that its gonna be so incredibly tough that most people won't be able to brush their teeth tomorrow.. oh well, we'll see about that.

i wonder why is it that some people like to dampen one's spirits lah. it dosen't mean that if you cannot make it everyone else cant ok? i shall train and make it less than 20 minutes for my 5.2km MacRitchie jog next year man. just watch.

oh, still in a dilemma about whether i should embark on NYAA gold or choose to slack.. any opinions? im in this dilemma because i don't know if i would regret it in future if i do not go and i don't think i have got enough spare time to complete it now that JC life is so stressful...

I shall be strong.

Incredibly sucky day today...

Cross country is up tomorrow!! i'd better go sleep early and run my best! i wana win a medal ! xP

School was incredibly boring today.. especially with lectures like the chemistry one today, conducted by Ms Soh. i couldn't stand it lah!! immediately when the bell rang i was one of the first to rush out of the theatre to go for break.. i can't take it when lecturers cannot keep the class quiet, and also when they drone on and on, indifferent as to whether people pay attention or not. sometimes i just feel like standing up and exploding like Mr. Genesius Chan (from SJI). i wish all of them would be like the ones conducted by Mr. Fahy, however with less shooting of questions at people. that would probably be the only way that CJC would produce better results in future lah.

Had dinner with Yimin, Nigel, Melissa and Janice at S-11 at ang mo kio central just now.. had mee pok! went to buy safety pins for pinning the number tags on tomorrow after that..
